Deaf Welfare Awareness Foundation (DWAF) was founded in 1977 by a group of dedicated individuals, including the late Muhammad Mansha (founder), with a vision to support and empower Deaf people in Pakistan. What started as a small initiative has grown into one of the country’s leading organizations for Deaf empowerment, working in education, skills training, employment, healthcare, advocacy and social welfare. For over four decades, DWAF has remained committed to removing barriers and creating opportunities for Deaf individuals so they can participate fully in society.
